The Milan design week has just come to an end and we are very happy that we could visit it once again. We traded in office mornings and dates with our laptops for wandering the streets of the design and fashion capital of Italy. Spending a week here, spotting trends, seeing so many installations and speaking to suppliers got us so inspired that we can’t wait to start creating again ourselves.
We like clean and organised so doing a spring cleanup is welcomed all year round with open arms. Out with the old, in with the new!
That does not perse have to mean that you literally through out and replace with new furniture, we use it more along the lines of changing around items you already have, giving a wall a new color and make space for a new accessory to make your home look fresh and ready for a new season.
Remember when the interior trend was all about monochrome, playful black and white prints and geometric designs? Although we are big fans, on the Design Week in Milan there is no getting around the fact that earthy tones are the new theme in town.
