Every now and then we want to take the house and shake it like a snow globe. When it is time for a change, we wil start shaking and hope that everything falls into a nice place. We get very exited about change and often take the opportunity to see how we can welcome in a new season or vibe by shopping in every room of the house.
Playing around with furniture and accessories will often let you realize how multi functional most items are and therefore allow you to style them in various ways.
Changing seasons always makes our stylist heart a little restless as this is the perfect moment for change. We were very curious about some of the colors on Jotuns new color chart and that in combination with being totally ready for something different made us decide to take a little gamble.
The good thing about creating a statement wall in your home is that it is a big effect in very little time. This wall only took one can of paint and four hours to complete including the styling. The proof is in the video. Bye bye white walls, hello dusty red!
As the days get shorter and the winter break gets closer, we are working on many lists. Lists from the kids to Santa, lists of gifts to bring home when we visit the family and our regular to-do lists of work related items.
All of these lists have one thing in common and that is that they are about cozy encounters, family time and delicate decorations. Although we have had a Xmas tree before, this year we are keeping it simple and sweet. Green is the theme yet there are so many different ways to bring some lush leaves inside.
A small, quick update for your kids room can be done in a few minutes. I changed just a few touches in the boys room for a fresh new look. I move a few things around, and added only one new item, the Animal poster.
