I am just thinking back of the swaying palm trees in Jimbaran and the green rice fields in Ubud… It was such a dreamy family holiday I went on last week.
Bali has more than gorgeous lush views and delicious nasi goreng (that I had on a very regular basis…), the island is full of inspirational hotels, restaurants, shops and craftsmanship.
Moving house – not exactly the most stress free activity if you ask me.
It is the opportunity to make a fresh new start and I happen to love those.
It is a great opportunity to declutter and reinvent your furniture. With little touches you can create a whole different vibe.
In my new home I dream of to bringing some more green inside. The lack of greenery outside will be compensated this time around. Some luscious leaves in combination with light wood, white and maybe even some color will probably look great, keeping it simple and scruffy, something I loved seeing during my holidays in the south of France and the Netherlands.
It will be Jack’s birthday tomorrow and that not only means that we are having a party, it means that I have a five year old son! All cliches are true… time flies when you are having fun and my boy now wants to have a cool party for his cool friends and I don’t say ‘no’ to that.
I’m not much of the theme-party-person. For occasions like this, I will go for color & creativity, just letting the kids be cool as they are but surrounding them with festive and fun items.
I came across so many fun goodies during my search that I just had to share some of them with you. Let’s party like its 2015 my sweet little…uhm… cool Jack!
