As interior stylists, we face many styling related challenges which vary from order lead times to finding the perfect accessory and anything in between.
Yet in our latest project, a summer house with 4 spaces to be styled by us, we came across a real challenge. We were asked to create a room for an 11 year old boy. The real challenge lies not in the lack of inspiration but more in the fact that it needs to appeal to a teenager and remain enjoyable for the coming years.
Two boys, one room…. that is something we can relate to. We had so much fun designing the space for these little boys. Creating a stylish space enjoyable for sleeping, chilling and having fun with friends. We made comfort one of our top priorities for the design of this room.
Our starting point was the Jungle wall paper from Bien Fait. It’s an old time favourite and one you might have seen before in nurseries, playrooms and in a shared bedroom. It makes a statement doesn’t it?
A dream that was always high on our priority became reality this year. We were asked to take care of the photo shoot of a mind blowing collaboration between Pax and Hart (who you might know from my poster addiction) and Jimmy Cricket. We were happy bunnies!
