Sometimes small changes can make a big impact. Just before the summer holidays kick off here, I wanted to fresh up our master bedroom. Without making it one of our projects, we want to show how we change the mood of this room with just a set of new crisp bedding and a quick and painless DIY #Ikeahack.
Whether it is for a photo shoot or an installation, we are always on the look out for new products to work with. We have quite a few well known go-to sites we use and shops we visit. Yet we also very much enjoy using unique products made by enthusiastic creatives that are possibly driving their business from their kitchen table.
Last month we made quite an exciting announcement regarding a new business adventure: fronteriors. Together with Kath Hawkes (aka @houseofhawkes ) we decided that after years, of having a great collaborative working relationship, we could bring it up a notch and start designing and making furniture. It is an absolute dream from my bucket list and has been an entrepreneurial endeavor since the idea first came up over coffee in January of this year.
Summer is on our doorstep. The mornings are light, the evenings get long and our sleeves get short. It’s a great time to update the kids wardrobe as they grow faster then weeds. These long legs were in desperate need of some new cool shorts and we therefore could not be happier with our order from Hundred Pieces.
