Walking into the domain of two teenage boys can be dangerous. But for this interior styling project we had to face our fears and go for it.

What the boys wanted most of all was to sleep comfortably and have some privacy. Since the room is not very large, this was our first challenge.

Luckily we had the chance to work with Woodboys for a  custom made bed that turned out to be much cooler then ever imagined. The two queen-sized mattresses which fit onto this bed, give the boys the space that they want and need.
Because you can’t give two teens room a “normal’ room the mantra of the room became ‘Normal is Boring’, which we put up on the light box at the entrance.
The surfboard on the wall adds some layed-back coolness and adds some color to the overall black and white interior. And gives that little pop of color on the perfect skylight white wall by Jotun.
