We are happy to announce that we have some fabulous Guest on the Blog- contributors lined up for summer. We start off with  Bloesem Design Blog, one of our inspirators from way back when. Enjoy!

As avid fans of travel and design, we at Studio Bloesem make every excuse to visit all our favourite stores while we are away. Today we’ll be sharing the top 5 stores that have caught our eyes and have definitely made it to our ‘must visit’ list the next time we are in their part of the world. From UK to Australia, we’ll slowly cross these stores off our list, but for now we’ll just ogle at them from the comfort of our own homes!
If you have the pleasure of living in their vicinity, make sure you pop in… but beware, you might pop out with a much lighter wallet!

A handsomely curated shop in Brighton, UK, Workshop stocks quality, functional designs for sustainable, everyday living. Our pick: the hand-carved wooden boards and platter.

Located in Norway, Gathering Objects is a store that perfectly combines beauty, interior and lifestyle. A seamless Scandinavian tone is apparent in all their products, which are sourced from around the globe, and are either handmade or vintage.

Objects of Use presents simple, everyday tools that are sourced locally and made using natural materials and low-impact production methods. The ethos of being against ‘throwayism’ rings through in the aesthetics: timeless designs which are built to last.

Imagine: an airy, white space near the beach. Befitting of their brand, Australian clothing store, Assembly of Label, is that and more – delivering desirable, minimal pieces for the coastal life. Oh, there’s even a coffee stop in their Manly store too. Cofffee and fashion = retail bliss.

A bold and bright store situated against the busy city of Amsterdam, The Pelican Studio offers quality and style options with a tight curation of apparel, accessories and footwear supplemented by a range of lifestyle products. Its interiors boast a modern, cool appeal, matched against a backdrop of pastels, inspired by the 1980s TV Hit Series, Miami Vice.
