With our summer holiday coming to an end soon, the list of projects that we would like to start on is growing. One of them can start as soon as we are home: the kids rooms. Updating the kids rooms always makes sense after a summer break and at the beginning of a school year as kids mature so quickly in their time away from routine, homework and school uniforms. As surfer boy Sam just turned 9, we have his room in mind to start with. He got his own room earlier this year (after sharing a room most of his life with Jack) and we were still working of the ultimate finishing touch.
We could call Paris a tiny bit our home last weekend when we had the chance to visit Maison & Objet. With Hotel Panache as our base we walked an average of 10k a day to visit suppliers, inspirational stores and lots of cafes to refuel.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting an artist that we have worked since we started Live Loud Girl. She is the creative brain behind some of the pieces that have given our installations that perfect finishing touch and the designer of the centerpiece in our most pinned photo ever. Live Loud Girl would not be the same without the works of Zoé Rumeau.
We’re back! Going on holiday is great. So is going home! Although ‘home’ is a point of discussion. We’re now at the home of my heart. Last pit stop for a couple of weeks before we head back to Dubai. Where the home is. While in the Netherlands we’ll slowly get back to work with some great summer holiday moodboards from our guest bloggers, must visits and on some exciting styling projects for September. Keep you posted!
