School is out, the tree is up and I have already heard Mariah Carey on the radio a several times. There’s no denying it, Xmas 2015 has come.
As I hear Jack and Sam humming the songs of their winter concert, I think back of this time of year when I was their age. Although many things have changed (for sure did I not sing the theme song of Frozen), many things are the same. Like lazing around in pyjama’s, having no plan for the day and ending up being exhausted from all our activities and the home cooked festive dinners.
This blog is all about inspiring people when it comes to interior styling and decorating.
Now, it is not that all our inspiration magically pops up every time we start a new project. We are constantly being inspired by people around us, photographers, creative businesses that we work with and last but not least by our digital life lines.
With Christmas just days away and the sudden change of weather here (I can honestly say that I have been cold this week…), we are ready to be fully inspired to create our warm and cosy home, complete with gingerbread cookie baking, carol humming and jumper wearing.
His shoes are a bit big, his coat just a tad warm for Dubai, but Santa’s beard looks fantastic on me!

The Holiday Season has officially started. And to be sure to make every December day a special one, using an advent calendar is such a great idea.
Whether you are the creative type of not, this DIY wall mounted advent calendar tree we made for our Xmas styling shoot is the perfect accessory for the Xmas countdown. It is simply made of a few rods, hooks and paper bags that can contain any sort of stocking filler.
Kids will get really exited about opening one every morning
