You might know we’re already a fan of Kate & Kate Home. The sisters (in law) have an exquisite taste in fabrics, colors and styles, making us big fans.
Their newest collection is not only beautifully shot, the products are right up our street. From bedding with just the right dose of boho to linen cushions that make you want to buy a beach house just to go with it.
In a few days we will kick off the month of numerous celebrations. From local festivities to long-established traditions which are often celebrated with close friends and family at home. This gives us all a great excuse to focus on making our home a warm and welcoming place.
To get into the holiday spirit, we teamed up with friend and Dubai blogger House of Hawkes to create a styled interior space full of inspiration for Xmas, just like we did last year.
A new season, a new installation and it was a great one! A room for two little sisters who will be sharing a room. And we had the honor to take care of the make over.
It was not so much the climate of Dubai that gave us the inspiration for the styling, it was the fresh and sunny character of the girls that made us decide to go on a little tropical adventure.
We started this job by painting the walls with skylight white from Jotun. This fairly long and narrow room needed the right furniture to keep it airy. Since one of the four walls is all windows, we had only three walls left to use for storage, shelving and furniture. And that is why our eye fell on the two tall four poster beds from Incy Interiors. Dreamy yet modern to also ensure the girls can sleep in them for the years to come. The hight of the beds allows the natural light to come in and keep the room sunny.
Since spring is here I felt it was time to change around a few things in the play room to create a fresh space for the kids to play since things are warming up again.
However, taking the triangles down was kind of a big step for me (and apparently also to some followers). To show my loyalty to them, I went for a new triangle print from Mini & Maximus, a million faces.
