For us, styling a nursery is always a special project. Not only because it will be the first room for a newborn, it is also a place where parents spend time bonding with their baby making them memorable in style and design.
This particular room is one of the five rooms we were asked to design for a beautiful villa on Zaya Nurai Island. A dream project in size, creativity and variety allowing us to reflect the true Live Loud Girl style.
Designing a nursery for a baby girl is always gratifying, designing a nursery for twin girl is exceptionally enjoyable. Especially when the client requests that she wants something atypical, different and not so pink yet simple.
Starting from scratch is also a bonus so we began with the walls. Since we had one large uninterrupted wall, we could not resist to go for the Bien Fait wall paper again. This brings in an instant wow-effect and also is perfect for growing kids. It will remain cool for such a long, long time so worth the investment!
Although we are all out of the baby phase (for what I know at least), we still love designing and styling nurseries. And luckily, they keep coming our way.
Our latest client wanted to create a calm and clean room, keeping everything very basic and subtle. Although that generally works very well for a nursery, we did want to spice it up a little, adding a dash of Live Loud Girl-ness as we always want to create rooms that kids grow into, no matter how young they are.
Hello nursery, it’s been a while.
We love creating beautiful spaces for the tiniest people so we were happy to be asked by one of our suppliers to style the nursery for her baby girl on the way.
White Moss Decor works with artisans to hand craft genuine products, in beautiful natural materials. She asked us to create this nursery combining her products with a few of our old time favorite and some more bold and boho picks.
