We are very happy to introduce a new Live Loud Girl team member this week. After long consideration and listing the pro’s and con’s, Linda has finally made the decision. And so this morning we welcomed her new Apple computer. This beautiful piece of technology will be posting and publishing from now on.
There is more news out there however.
We were pleasantly surprised with some lovely shots from the talented Studio Bandit who you might know from being our Guest on the Blog . For her new home, she used a very affordable rug from home supply store Karwei and styled it in a way that only she can. This shows us that styling is all about creativity, not budget.
Details can really make or break a piece of furniture, thats why we always try to refine every element of the items we work with. We love it when someone says: “look at those legs!”, not referring to mine but to the customised bed legs for example. Its all about the details.
As we’re quite a regular at our local IKEA, both for our styling projects and for our own home, a company like SuperFront is a phenomenal find. This clever Swedish company makes legs, handles, fronts and tops for some of IKEA’s best known items. The result: creating affordable yet beautifully customised furniture. SuperFront works with a beautiful line of colors and exclusive materials such as brass, copper, marble, birch and leather… need to mention those are some of our favorites?
What an inspirational week! Dubai Design Week is a wrap, but we are already looking forward to next year.
There was so much going on throughout the city in the last week of October and we tried our best to take in as much as possible.
Our kick of was pretty easy since it was visiting one of our favorite designer stores. Comptoir 102 held the exhibition Nature in the City in collaboration with three artists. The set up was totally in line with our obsession of bringing green inside.
It’s such a officy week ahead. Mainly with ordering lots of amazing products for upcoming room installations that are lined up for these two last months of the year. Our creative brain is on a roller coaster. This is such an additive job.
