A small, quick update for your kids room can be done in a few minutes. I changed just a few touches in the boys room for a fresh new look. I move a few things around, and added only one new item, the Animal poster.
We are hooked on the new AW16 launch of Design Letters. You know by now that we have a weak spot for their clean ABC collection so this new product was happily received. HOOK2 is a personal hook with typography designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1937 from their Vintage collection.
You can imagine these hooks in a hallway or bathroom with someones initial on it or creating a word like COAT or BATH. Or maybe use it as a silent way to tell your children something by hanging TIDY UP in the playroom. Although Jack and Sam don’t need a reminder of this, we put up FUN and they loved it.
The clever thing is that underneath the big round hook is a hidden small hook. That means, that the hook looks good on the wall, even when in use. Practical and clean, just the way we like it. Are you hooked? Check them out on the Design Letters now!
At the top of our work-related bucket list was organising a collaborative photoshoot moulding together the most awesome kids interiors from new brands on the block and other small labels that we favor. We wanted to keep it simple, creating something that could work in any environment, yet with a funky vibe. Jungalow style. We Live Loud right, so why not?
If you haven’t heard about Miniwilla before, I am sure you have seen her products on this blog and in our room installations. We fell in love with this whimsical brand a long time ago and have used it ever since. Remember the posters ‘The kids are all right‘ and ‘You are so pretty‘?
