Two boys, one room…. that is something we can relate to. We had so much fun designing the space for these little boys. Creating a stylish space enjoyable for sleeping, chilling and having fun with friends. We made comfort one of our top priorities for the design of this room.
Designing a nursery for a baby girl is always gratifying, designing a nursery for twin girl is exceptionally enjoyable. Especially when the client requests that she wants something atypical, different and not so pink yet simple.
Starting from scratch is also a bonus so we began with the walls. Since we had one large uninterrupted wall, we could not resist to go for the Bien Fait wall paper again. This brings in an instant wow-effect and also is perfect for growing kids. It will remain cool for such a long, long time so worth the investment!
Working with Pax and Hart is a dream job and we are so grateful to get the chance to work again for this talented lady from all the way Down Under, creating a concept and styling the shoot for her 10 newest prints.
This time around we decided to keep it robust yet simple setting with a bit of a moody feel.
We started off with leaving our basement wall for what it is. This least inspiring place of the house has proven to be so good for photo shoots. Together with some circles in divers colours the subtle and simple setting was done.
Starting off with palm leaf wall paper is always a good idea. Cole & Son has several palm leaves and as we wanted to keep the design for this girlsroom relatively clean, yet colorfull we chose for the single leaf.
The blue velvet sofa is such an iconic item in the room. The rich color and fabric together with the simple design make us want to chill here all day long. And it goes extremely well with the Maison Saadah * Live Loud Girl rug that we proudly brought in. Rugs always bring in some nice structure and keep little feet warm.
