The summer is on it’s way to the Middle East and the Spring holiday vibes are tangible in our house. We have a family trip to Sri Lanka during the Easter break coming up and we all just can’t wait.
As you know we always love changing around things in the boys room. Just with a funky poster, another rug or some new storage it will feel different and look as new.
This time we chose for bedding by a brand we love for a long time, La Cerise sur la Gateau. Bon Bon Bleu provides this fantastic bedding brand, made from super soft cotton in the colors that we currently love to work with. Teal blue, warm green and mustard yellow with a grid or a dot, are perfect for every kids room
The bunk bed looks ready for two fast growing boys to accommodate their long nights with dreams of endless beaches, coconuts and Tuk Tuks.
We are back home! Back to normal life, routine, school lunches and sport bags. Yet to be honest, after 12 weeks of holiday, it’s kinda nice to be behind our computers again with our trusted home brewed coffee.
As we mentioned to you earlier, we weren’t bored over the last few weeks. Because next to having quality time with family and friends, we paid our favorite shops back home a visit, for inspiration and sourcing as we are in de midst of a few exciting projects.
You might know we’re already a fan of Kate & Kate Home. The sisters (in law) have an exquisite taste in fabrics, colors and styles, making us big fans.
Their newest collection is not only beautifully shot, the products are right up our street. From bedding with just the right dose of boho to linen cushions that make you want to buy a beach house just to go with it.
Since we do so many kids rooms, see so many great products and are constantly inspired to do more, I desperately wanted to work our magic but this time at home. Jack’s room had been on the to-do list for a long time since I felt it wasn’t complete.
So when Jotun offered us to try their matt paint of the new My Home collection, we immediately grabbed our chance. Before we knew it, we were saying goodbye to the navy wall and welcomed a very loved monochrome combo.
