STYLING PROJECT – TWIN NURSERY

Designing a nursery for a baby girl is always gratifying, designing a nursery for twin girl is exceptionally enjoyable. Especially when the client requests that she wants something atypical, different and not so pink yet simple.

Starting from scratch is also a bonus so we began with the walls. Since we had one large uninterrupted wall, we could not resist to go for the Bien Fait wall paper again. This brings in an instant wow-effect and also is perfect for growing kids. It will remain cool for such a long, long time so worth the investment!

On this wall we wanted to keep it simple. Just a pop of color with some yellow shelves and two Muuto wall hooks.

Against the wall we placed a large table which was already in the room, we only gave it a make over with some new legs and a beautiful blush color. This table will function as a changing table for now, hence the gorgeous changing basket. We are big fans of (re)using furniture that can play a role in the room for the years to come.

The opposite wall was painted in the warm and subtle Jotun Soft Grey to hopefully have these girls sleeping through the night in no time. Their timeless matching Oeuf NYC cots and dreamy accessories like the gorgeous Swan really give this side of the room a calmer vibe.

Speaking of accessories, these chairs are a discovery from our trip to Maison & Objet in Paris. It was love at first sight for us with this ecological children’s furniture by EcoBirdy. The soft design with the knowledge that it is made from up-cycled materials is perfect for this next generation. The perfect add on in this atypical yet sweet and elegant twin girls nursery.
