STYLING PROJECT – INDOOR PLAYGROUND

It has been a while since we styled a playroom. And this one is quite a special one as it’s more of a playground. It is one of the rooms that we designed for the villa on Zaya Nurai Island, a large and beautiful open space with natural light and an arched entrance. Kids with the ages between 0 to 11 will be playing here so we could not wait to get started.

For the back wall we chose a stunning string cabinet from String Furniture. This side of the room can be used for homework or storage. The EcoBirdy chairs and the wooden Ikea stools can be pulled up to the desk too, or can be used at the white table. Mix and match works very well in this area with all these subtle neutral tones.

The enchanting Zoe Rumeau lights above the  custom made storage cabinet we designed ourselves spells PLAY… just in case a reminder is needed what the space is intended for.

On the floor you we placed a large cream colored Berber rug to keep tiny feet warm and comfortable. It softens the grey and white tones tones and adds a classic touch to this space. Another nice soft touch is the Anne Claire Petit plant. No watering required!

The space is finished with adding the Nest bean bag and storage tables. All are very swanky and inviting pieces making them desirable items when it comes to styling play rooms.
