ROOMSTYLING: BOHO NURSERY WHITE MOSS DECOR

Hello nursery, it’s been a while.
We love creating beautiful spaces for the tiniest people so we were happy to be asked by one of our suppliers to style the nursery for her baby girl on the way.

White Moss Decor works with artisans to hand craft genuine products, in beautiful natural materials. She asked us to create this nursery combining her products with a few of our old time favorite and some more bold and boho picks.

The adorable baby cot was one of the first things we chose as a base for the nursery. It is such an eye catcher. It gives any space a boho feel. Add some cute bedding, a beautiful soft blanket from Kate & Kate Home, a little white neon heart from By Something Els and our old time favorite grid wallpaper and you’re half way there.

To give the room our signature style, we wanted to add some pops of color to the overal neutral setting. So that is how the rattan mirror met a bottle of minty green spray paint. A small change, and so easy to Do It Yourself.
Another favorite is the eye mirror that we hung together with some funky faces on the wall over the changing table. You might recognize this beautifully made piece of furniture by DertigZes  from our collaborative shoot last year. We love working with new brands like these.

The minty green from the mirror is also used on some hanging shelving from Ikea for some of our most popular shelfie stars like Pinch toys cars, the Mikanu pear, a Lucky Boy Sunday doll by Marmarland and Sol by Aro for Kids.

We literally got our hands dirty with another successful curtain DIY. The orange gives the room a pop of color without it being too girly and it goes so well with pinks and neutrals.

What brings everything together is the gorgeous Lamia Beni Ourain rug by Maison Saadah. Rugs make a room welcoming and add the right amount of structure, even in warm countries like Dubai, it is a must have for kids rooms.

Wether you are more of a neutral boho believer or a pop of color enthusiast, this room has it all. Ready to make this little girl on the way feel welcome and loved.
