Once upon a time there was a nine year old girl who was ready for a small version of a big city apartment. Inspired by her passion for ballet and her love for Paris, we were very happy to create a space for her to grow in and grow-up in. This room needed some dreamy metropolitan furnishing with a modern touch.
A white exposed brick wall by Jotun Lady Design was the perfect start for this installation which immediately gives the room an urban feel. On the opposite side of the room we applied wall stickers. A combination of gold, black and a soft pink irregular dots from Urban Walls makes it playful, yet keep the design simple.
We played around with some more gold touches like the chair from Bloomingville. It is sleek and urban, especially in combination with the sheepskin. It will be her place to read a book or listen to some tunes. It goes perfectly with the bed side bird cage lamp and the mustard felt pendant lampshades by Muskhane.
It’s the clean and light furnishing that make you feel like the view from the window is the Eiffel tower. Big budgets are not always needed to create a space you love, that’s for sure!

Wow this is a great space! The perfect balance of little girl and grown up. I love how the black touches ground the space and the soft pink and mustard make it feel sofisticated!
