We could call Paris a tiny bit our home last weekend when we had the chance to visit Maison & Objet. With Hotel Panache as our base we walked an average of 10k a day to visit suppliers, inspirational stores and lots of cafes to refuel.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting an artist that we have worked since we started Live Loud Girl. She is the creative brain behind some of the pieces that have given our installations that perfect finishing touch and the designer of the centerpiece in our most pinned photo ever. Live Loud Girl would not be the same without the works of Zoé Rumeau.
We had a very good excuse to visit Paris this month. Maison & Objet had been on our wish list for some years and this time we made sure we would not miss it. A perfect reason to visit suppliers that we have been working with for a long time, find newbies to possibly collaborate with. More on our very favorites will soon be up on the blog.
This trip also gave us the possibility to visit influential Parisian places, inspirational stores and gastronomic restaurants. We re-visited some of the top tips from our Paris Escape list and also discovered some new gems.
With a whole list of installations, photo shoots and launches lined up, we can’t wait to get started with 2018… Oh wait, we already did.
Lined up in our office already some new products that we will be working with like the Nofred Mouse Chair and the Zoe Rumeau UniCorn light
In terms of trends, velvet is still hot and happening and we will certainly be using it this year. Hanging up a velvet curtain in the boys bedroom was the first thing that I did in 2018. Together with the round cushion by Onyx and Smoke this room is updated for the new year.
As the end of this year is quickly approaching, we want to take the chance to look back on a very successful, fun and inspiring 2017.
It was a year in which we had the chance to work on things that had been on our wish list for a long time. Letting them become a reality was mind blowing.
Some fun and colorful room installations kept us busy throughout the year. And even though that is what we have been doing for the last four years, we can never get enough of it.
