Pjotun paint trands 2016 no 57Does any of you have some good new years resolutions?
Our list is all about eat cleaner, sleep earlier, spend more time with the kids and our friends. It is very similar to resolutions of last year so we better get on it!

For our home we also have some resolutions since there is still a list of unfinished projects, corners with unattended clutter and spaces that can use some undivided attention.

As you might have read before on this blog, we are not afraid of wall paint as it is the best way to change the look and feel of a room.
There are a lot of gorgeous trends that we will be following, working with and hopefully installing, like the Jotun Paints color trends 2016.

Today we are very proud that we can share one of these fantastic trends with you as a DIY guide. It is a wall color that we have tried, tested and certainly have approved.

NO. 57 This rough and edgy look can give your room some immediate personality. It has the quality of a wall paper, yet it is not the same investment because at the end, it’s just paint. Although it is a bold color, it can easily be changed again.

Wether it is this look or one of the other Jotun trends, we hope to be seeing a lot of color on the walls in the new year. Come on…Live Loud, why not?

NO. 57 DIY Guide

  • Thick paint brush

Step 1:
Using the roller, apply B/C 1 and then B/C 2. Let it dry completely.

Step 2:
With the thick brush, apply T/C 1 & 2  very lightly in small and even vertical and horizontal motions. Let it dry completely.
