Moodboard Jotun

Our last styling project before the summer last year was quite a special one. It has been our most shared, liked and reposted room yet.
As we always strive to grow and keep surprising, we would like to share our latest styling project with you. It’s not a room, it’s not a room and playroom, it’s a whole home! To make it even more exciting, we will be going across the border to do the installation. Yes, we will be soaking up some Saudi sun before going home on our big summer break.

Taking care of the interior styling of an entire house does not happen over night. We had many meetings, brainstorm sessions, magazines to flip through, blogs to read and Instagram accounts to check out. Our trip to Milan gave us inspiration for the colors and we could not wait to use them in our project.

This home will be all about creating warm and tranquil spaces. With the Jotun‘s Milan trend colors Dusky Pink, Structure and Seaweed we were able to create a sophisticated pallet. Adding grey and black gives it a more modern feel and the mustard adds some exotic flavor. For the furniture we chose warm rich velvet and gold touches in combination with cooler tones of marble and ash wood.

Designing the mood board under a tight deadline was all about discovering and pushing our own creativity.  Although the selection of Scandi inspired furniture in Dubai has grown over the last few years, The Netherlands just has so much more to offer. Besides that, this house is craving some vintage finds and we knew just the right places to go to back home.

The current status is that there is an empty house, a full container and a very excited team to make some magic happen. Follow us along the way on Instagram and Snapchat [Liveloudgirl1] to see the result. We’ll keep you updated about the progress of the project and the final result!
