Last month we made quite an exciting announcement regarding a new business adventure: fronteriors. Together with Kath Hawkes (aka @houseofhawkes ) we decided that after years, of having a great collaborative working relationship, we could bring it up a notch and start designing and making furniture. It is an absolute dream from my bucket list and has been an entrepreneurial endeavor since the idea first came up over coffee in January of this year.
You might have seen it on my Instagram stories already yet due to the high enthusiasm and adrenalin levels, we also want to share this news on the blog. I have started a new business venture with friend and fellow interior stylist, Kath, better known as @houseofhawkes. Kath and I met at an industry event a few years ago and have developed a great working relationship and friendship from the start. Even though we are in the same line of business, we have proven that sharing is caring. Being open and constructive towards one another has given us both the opportunity to grow.
Blogs grow up so fast… I can’t believe it is already Live Loud Girls 5th birthday. A milestone that needs to be celebrated and we just happen to be very good at that!
When I started sharing my love for interiors on this blog in 2014 I had no idea I would be where I am today only five years later. And when people ask me how we did it, I can only say: I just started. And it involved a lot of instances where I thought: Oh… Ok!
Eyes wide open for the new year, we can almost feel you. Staring into the new year always makes us want to reflect.
This past year we had the chance to create some beautiful spaces for our clients. Two projects where we really could show our Live Loud Girl signature were the Jotun Kids Collection and the five room project – the shared boys room being one of them. These projects allowed us to work with all of our favorite products, partners, colors and people. A creative dream come true both with a Live Loud Girl Signature.
