STYLING PROJECT – SHARED BOYS ROOM

Two boys, one room…. that is something we can relate to. We had so much fun designing the space for these little boys.  Creating a stylish space enjoyable for sleeping, chilling and having fun with friends. We made comfort one of our top priorities for the design of this room.

Our starting point was the Jungle wall paper from Bien Fait. It’s an old time favourite and one you might have seen before in nurseries, playrooms and in a shared bedroom. It makes a statement doesn’t it?

The two identical Kalon Studio beds on one side of the room are complemented with bedding in contrasting colors. We still can’t get enough of the teal blue, green and mustard combo… Can you?
Teal blue is in any case a theme color for this room. The opposite wall has been painted with Jotun Fusion 5362, speaking of statement walls. On top of that, we chose a teal blue Bemz sofa cover which we think is such a fantastic way to upgrade your IKEA sofa to reflect your own personal style. This area has ‘chilling’ written all over it.

A product that was on our wish list and is now decorating the wall behind the couch is the Anne Claire Petit big lobster. The color, the craftsmanship, the material… I guess a new favorite.

A combination of Piet Hein Eek design by IKEA and a white round table gives the boys space to be creative. Whatever they do in this room, we just know that there will be many laughs and big stories.

SHOP THE LOOK – BLUE ROOM

Did you have a chance to look at our latest post about  photoshoot of the Jotun Kids Collection 2018 (a.k.a. our dream job of Art Direction and styling)?

For this collection, Jotun created three themes based on Children’s imaginative stories. The eight colors of each theme form a beautiful pallet which was the starting point for our designs. We created nine settings and want to share our favourites with you.
You can find the end result in the Jotun brochure and on our blog.

Perhaps it will inspire you to get creative too…

BEHIND THE SCENES OF A DREAM PROJECT

Styling a photo shoot, a room or a house is always something we do together with the client. We talk about what we would like to create, the colors, the furniture…

As we work with lots of amazing clients, suppliers, teams and products, we like to share the end result on our social platforms in the hope to inspire you guys.

Our latest project is still work in progress. Yet, it is a very special installation (which makes it hard not to brag) so we just needed to give a little sneak peek.
