Although we are all out of the baby phase (for what I know at least), we still love designing and styling nurseries. And luckily, they keep coming our way.
Our latest client wanted to create a calm and clean room, keeping everything very basic and subtle. Although that generally works very well for a nursery, we did want to spice it up a little, adding a dash of Live Loud Girl-ness as we always want to create rooms that kids grow into, no matter how young they are.
Starting off with palm leaf wall paper is always a good idea. Cole & Son has several palm leaves and as we wanted to keep the design for this girlsroom relatively clean, yet colorfull we chose for the single leaf.
The blue velvet sofa is such an iconic item in the room. The rich color and fabric together with the simple design make us want to chill here all day long. And it goes extremely well with the Maison Saadah * Live Loud Girl rug that we proudly brought in. Rugs always bring in some nice structure and keep little feet warm.
We could call Paris a tiny bit our home last weekend when we had the chance to visit Maison & Objet. With Hotel Panache as our base we walked an average of 10k a day to visit suppliers, inspirational stores and lots of cafes to refuel.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting an artist that we have worked since we started Live Loud Girl. She is the creative brain behind some of the pieces that have given our installations that perfect finishing touch and the designer of the centerpiece in our most pinned photo ever. Live Loud Girl would not be the same without the works of Zoé Rumeau.
