Organising a collaborative shoot requires time and creativity. Of the first one we have too little, of the second one too much. Yet we managed to clear our agendas to try and create a setting that is original, inventive and inspirational. With no boundaries, no restrictions, ourselves as our client, a beautiful collection of small business brands and an empty garage as our studio, our imagination was set free.
With just over one month into 2017, the exciting time has come where brands are launching their new spring collections. We definitely see the link to some of the trends that we spotted during the Milan Design Week of 2016. The earthy tones, dusty pinks and leafy greens have been translated into some of our favorite design and homeware brands.
At the top of our work-related bucket list was organising a collaborative photoshoot moulding together the most awesome kids interiors from new brands on the block and other small labels that we favor. We wanted to keep it simple, creating something that could work in any environment, yet with a funky vibe. Jungalow style. We Live Loud right, so why not?
It is almost unfair to say we have updated our play room since this room is the most metamorphosed space in the house. And it has always been. Remember how we were all about triangles in the old house with first a pop of yellow and later in combination with vintage? And in the new house we have changed around a few things in less than a year like bringing in the lounger for the kids to chill and read on after school.
