Every now and then we want to take the house and shake it like a snow globe. When it is time for a change, we wil start shaking and hope that everything falls into a nice place. We get very exited about change and often take the opportunity to see how we can welcome in a new season or vibe by shopping in every room of the house.

As we are so thrilled with the freshly painted Dusty Red wall in the living room, we decided to create a cozy corner here using the Byron Bay lounger from the playroom, creating a real mix of styles, colors and materials. This corner shows how design and vintage elements work so well together .

Not too long ago we came across @mortilmernee of Louise from Denmark. A part time working mother of two girls with a passion and very clear sense of style. It is a different style then you would naturally pair with ours but we think it is exceptionally magical. The same goes for Louises own words she used to answer the questions we sent her when she agreed to be our latest Guest on the Blog. As we have just waved our Dutch Saint Nicholas goodbye and are gearing up for the school break, we are ready for the festive holiday. On paper….because with the sun still out and our flip flops still on, Christmas still feels far away.
As we will be singing our carols under a tree elsewhere, we want to keep our decorations really simple this year. Yet we just can not let this cozy time pass us by unseen. So focus on green, back to the basic with a touch a lights
