ROOM STYLING: NURSERY

 Nursery for baby girl

Every client has her own reason to involve the Live Loud Girl team in a project.
Some like our style (thanks!), some just don’t have the time (no problem) and this client had done the basic shopping of the furniture but didn’t exactly know which direction to go with the styling of the room. And that’s where we came in (yeah!).

The briefing was to create a girls room, without it being too pinkish and girly, to keep it simple without it being dull. The palet of neutrals that we chose worked out perfectly to create a beautiful clean but cosy room.
Being able to start out with a statement wall really makes our heart jump a beat. It made the rest just fall into place. In collaboration with Jotun we painted a taupe-white-lined for this nursery. It gives the room a warm feel that goes nicely with the overall white furnishing. The pink tribal patterned rug is a modern younger sister of the black and white Moroccan style rugs that we love and brings soft texture.
For the lighting, we got a bit creative. All we needed was a basket, a bulb and some spray paint and the first Live Loud Girl lamp was born.
The rabbit light is always a perfect buy for a nursery or kids room and in the gold color a great eye catcher. As are the Roxy Marj beer blanket, the Lucky Boy Sunday dolls and the growth chart by Make History !
A connection to the family roots was brought in with the teepee, the dream catcher poster, the indian rabbit poster above the crib and the adorable feather crown.
The only accessory that is currently missing is the baby… Luckily we won’t have to wait much longer for her to complete the scene.
